This is a series for neurodivergents and people on the autism spectrum as well as anyone with social anxiety, agoraphobia, or other socially-induced anxieties. I would like to note that I, personally, suffer from mild agoraphobia, strong social anxiety, and am neurodivergent (or as Howie put it, ‘near-autie’). These are things that I have utilized on social situations based on my own personality, specifically my proclivity to ritualistic behavior, low frustration threshold, overstimulation, hypersensitivity, and shutdowns/meltdowns.
I don’t think I am neurodivergent but I found this useful for when I have my “bad days” because some of the things you listed are similar to what I have done in the past to deal with myself. I think that I will need to start carrying some different items to help replace some of the bad things I sometimes do to myself. Thank you!
